I'm Back and At It

HEY YALL!

Im back!

Forgive the gap in time.

I went traipsing through Peru, Chile, Argentina, and as it happened Bolivia, too. Was a total blast, drank my weight in local cervezas and PISCO, saw some fun stuff, aligned my chakras at Machu Pichu, flew first class from Arg to Bolivia (back up!), etc.

But alas my computer and hardrive (and a hodge podge of other necessary daily life items) are locked in my house and i cant get at it.

So for now, I use James' computer. Because of this, here's a teaser of a few pics from the trip.

I went through the pics for the first time this morning, and i was dying laughing.

These TWO are from Cuzco, Peru. this is where i cried

AND, we hiked to Machu Pichu for 4 days. Totally fun. HOWEVER, Machu Pichu sucked because we all caught some sort of fever, hot and cold flashes, hiking UP MOUNTAINS, feverish, dehydrated, carrying 30 lb bags, achy legs, pouring rain, wanted it ALL TO STOP. Because of this, here's my ONLY pic from "Machu-Pukechu". Zoom in if you can, because Sarah's expression is priceless.

AND, along the way, via facebook, PLAGA asked me to slap PETER hard in public for her. WELL, i passed the torch to HOS and decided to just take a picture of his reaction. ahhaahah. dying. dying. Look at the two people sitting next to him. they are bout'a'bout'it.

Company Parties Rock

Marz' company party was on Monday, and we had a blast!

We had a potluck, but Jess brought the best dish:

Jake's in Benson, had its company party the next night. I didnt even think to take my camera out for obvious reasons. You know that song that goes: "Shots, shots, shots-shots-shots, shots, shots, shots-shots-shots...."???? Well it couldve been the theme song. Tara was my beautiful date and we had a GRAND OLD TIME.

Denver and the New Year!

Last Tuesday morning, I trailed it out to Denver, where miss Katie had rented a BALLER-STATUS house near downtown. Hot tub, waterfall, two fireplaces, nice beds, great showers, i think three fridges(!), internet, balconies, etc. Needless to say it was a great time. Dan and Tara have just gotten engaged (BTW)! - which I guess makes Tara and I engaged to the same man. Twisted.....But we were celebrating that all weekend too.

Later that night, after hottubs, food, booze, and relaxing, Katie, Chloe, and I headed out for downtown, crossing three pedestrian bridges and taking a FREE shuttle! I miss public transport.



Met Trevor and Bobby at Sancho's bar, across from the Fillmore


James met us and him and Katie HOOKED IT UP with ticket coverage for Chloe and I for YONDER MOUNTAIN STRING BAND! Total blast. So fun.

I have no pics because my camera was not allowed. When asked why, "Iz Too Big." hah.

So we partied like 2009 was F*@!*ing over, took a cab home and continued the fun.


Thats it for pics. Woke up early, drove to Ltown, and worked MARZ for the new year. Completely fun.

Went to Tom's for another rockin party.
Then went to Dan's w/ Mollz where he proceeded to open a $100 bottle of champagne at 5am.

When youre used to Freixenet as a splurge, $100 bottle of champers makes you feel like a celebrity.


What DOESNT make you feel like a celebrity, is the snack Molly cooked up for us all to enjoy. Kraft Singles between Sourdough, nuked for a minute until hot and soggy. We still ate it.

Holiday Catch Up

Alright! Finally got an ounce of time to catch up on the holiDAZE.

Okay kiddies, I know I've neglegted the 'mundo for a bit. But all for good reasons! Talk about Crazy weekends, Blizzards, Bus Rides, the birth of Jebus, DENVER, New Years, Moving, General Maintenance, etc. !

Here Comes Tranny Claus

Tara's done with STUDENT TEACHING and GRADUATED!!!!! In another sense, her and Dan are out and about again! So, here's some of what we did this past week...

Tara's Grad Party on Friday night! I drove from Lincoln after work, arrivng at 2:45 to a hoppin celebration at the Cavanagh's. It wasn't until 5am that I took the cam out of it's hiding spot because for some reeeeeason, we wanted pics of the stairwell...You tell me.
